UMPACI

UMPAKI is a Union of Macedonian Professional Associations in the Creative Industries. Members of the Union can be representative professional organizations in the field of creative industries and thus meet
the criteria set out in the separate Rule on Membership and Membership. We think it is very important to take care of the creative industries, because the creative economy is growing faster than any other economic sector and we have to keep up with the endless demand for innovation and complex creative work that is difficult to automate.

The cultural and creative sector is important for ensuring the continued development of society and is at the heart of the creative economy. Intensive knowledge based on individual creativity and talent generates significant economic benefits.

This in turn creates changes in other sectors and stimulates the invention and progress of Europe's diverse cultural landscape.
With the emergence of creative business models, the cultural and creative sectors are increasingly becoming a decisive component of almost every product and service.

Museums, Libraries and Galleries; marketing and advertising; product design, fashion design and graphic design; architecture; crafts; TV, video, photography, film and radio; publishing; software and computer services; music, performance and visual arts.

They are known to as:

Creative and cultural industries, creative digital industries, creative economics or the so-called Orange economy.

Goals of the union

The goals of the union are primarily to promote, develop, encourage, preserve and nurture culture and heritage through participation and organization of various activities. Our idea is to provide support to all legal entities and organizations that belong to the creative arts and entertainment industries and industries. The support itself would enable specialists in various fields of creative, artistic and entertaining activities and industries. It would additionally generate new jobs in the domestic sector and improve the overall economic picture of the country.
The activities would be aimed at organizing events, exhibitions, fairs, festivals, congresses, forums, conferences and symposia in the areas where the organizations operate and organizing or assisting in organizing these events. Many of our goals would also be related to organizing national and international conferences, promoting research projects, publishing books with scientific and educational content, promoting educational projects, design and micro-production activities, as well as creating and training staff from all areas of professional organizations that are members of the union.
