Andy Brydon – Founder and creative director of Curated Place

Andy is the founder and creative director of Curated Place an international arts agency delivering production, training and strategic consultancy. He is an established and experienced producer, arts strategist, curator, festival and major events director specialising in creative place making at city, region and hyperlocal level. Andy has in-depth knowledge of the entire art production process and more than 25 years experience working in a senior leadership role as a creative entrepreneur and in arts organisations.

He leads a team delivering destination festivals and arts programmes across Europe and works internationally connecting government, institutions, and city decision makers with every aspect of the arts to activate the creative economy as a social and economic driver.

With British Council teams in Wider Europe and Central Asia he founded and leads the Creative Producers professional development programme that enables locally rooted creative communities become internationally connected with the skills, networks and tools to bridge the gap between cultural strategy, policy and the work of making distinctive, sustainable creative careers not just projects.
